I’m a natural-born storyteller, which is why I always weave a sense of narrative into my work. I see each wedding that I shoot as its own individual tale of love and connection. Because at the end of it all, that’s exactly what they are. Stories to be celebrated.
My own story began in beautiful Adelaide where I was born and raised. I’m at my happiest when surrounded by mates sampling gins in one of the many small batch distilleries dotted around McLaren Vale, Clare Valley and Barossa Valley. I also love lazy hoIidays spent in Middleton and Victoria Harbor, which by tradition always feature a taste test of the latest Donut of the Month from the geniuses over at Port Elliot Bakery.
And while I do mix a mean G&T, my role in your wedding will be to use my camera to bring the most out of your personal story. The love, the joy, the tears, every smile, glance and heartbeat that make your special day a story worth telling. I have a real passion and desire to capture every moment that lets the real you shine through – all the quirks and connections that make your love unique.
But I also think it’s important to not get too heavy. We’re all here to have fun at the end of the day! Weddings should not be 100% stress. There should be an energy around them, the crackle of something magical, something that’s been building for weeks, months, even years. The climax of one story and the beginning of another one.
The venue. The dress. The cake. Your family. Your friends. They’re all chapters in your story and you can count on me to tell them all. My attention to detail and commitment to the arc of your day will make your wedding photography shine. So if you want to hire an Adelaide wedding photographer and, like me, you love stories – let’s get to work on telling yours!
